Trawden Forest Community Centre
Trawden Forest Community Centre (TFCC) is a not-for-profit charity, held in trust and founded in 2014 to manage the centre, which was gifted by asset transfer from Pendle Council as an alternative to closure.
Our aim is to maintain and develop the use of the Centre so that it provides a top class facility for people in the local area to be able to enjoy a range of activities, and enable private hire. Our vision is that TFCC will serve as the hub of our community, for the benefit of all residents.
The Centre is run by a committee of Trustees made up of Volunteers from the local community. It is entirely self-funded, covering running costs through user fees supplemented by fundraising. The Centre is made up of two function rooms – The Main Hall, and The Lounge. Both rooms are hatch served by the Kitchen and in addition the Main Hall is served by a licenced bar.
The Main Hall is suitable for events for up to 90 people. It can be served by our fully licenced bar if required. The kitchen has a large servery that can be used to cater to the room.
It is a versatile space and has lent itself to music and variety of performance nights – we have a small stage and a lighting rig, dancing – both regular and occasional Northern Soul events – the floor has even been described as ‘perfect’ for dancing.
Other events have included christenings, anniversaries, Halloween, race nights, local interest events and even a wedding reception.

The Lounge is suitable for events for up to 30 people. It is served by the kitchen through a separate servery.
It is a versatile space and has lent itself to church services, parish council meetings, business meetings, training events, family events and even baby showers.
