Pilates is a full body conditioning method that builds core strength from the inside. Created by Joseph Pilates in the 1920s, Pilates aims to strengthen both the mind and the body. Working through a series of exercises, tailored to suit the individual, emphasis is placed on the quality and precision of movement as opposed to the quantity of repetitions.
